Bats! Such annoying little creatures. Fear not, for here are some tried and tested methods to get them out and keep them out:
Repellents
• Door and window screens work like a charm, also, if you have a chimney, get a chimney cap.
• Cinnamon works. San Jose bats hate the smell, so mix some with water and spray it near places they live.
• Peppermint has many uses, including a natural pest deterrent. Have some growing in your garden, and use it the same way as cinnamon.
• Bats hate the smell of mothballs, just scatter them around the places the San Jose bats come in.
